Levels A-I

Learn-About Kits are divided into two categories, Science and Social Studies, which explicitly teach vocabulary and comprehension skills. There are four Science strands: Earth/Space, Energy, Life Science, and Matter. There are also four Social Studies strands: History/Culture, Geography, Economics/Technology and Government/Authority. Look for these great features in each kit:

• Eight different titles, 6 copies of each guided reading levels, A/B, C, D, ,E, F, G, H, and I in either Social Studies or Science.

• Teacher Notes with explicit comprehension and vocabulary sequences, oral language and writing activities.

• Blackline Masters for each title with independent follow-up work that can be photocopied for students.

• Strong picture support for all levels including a picture dictionary to introduce content vocabulary.

• An activity page at the end of each book that reinforces and extends the content.
